Customer persona survey simulation is a method of pre-checking questions and hypotheses by conducting a survey with a virtual person reflecting customer characteristics. The responses generated are simulated and should not be interpreted as a measure of actual customer purchase intent or market reaction.
In what order do you proceed?
| step | main task | Results to check |
|---|---|---|
| Persona Design | Define consumption tendencies, context of use, and inconveniences using customer and market data permitted to be used | Profiles and configuration criteria for each type |
| mock survey | Present the same question to different personas and record their choices and reasons. | Consistency and diversity of reactions and responses by type |
| Question improvement | Examine ambiguous questions, leading expressions, missing options, and weaknesses in the hypothesis. | Questions and verification tasks to be used in this survey |
What tasks can it be used for?
- Checking the question structure of new product/new feature ideas
- Explore expected reactions to price and subscription terms
- Dictionary comparison of marketing messages and expressions
- Address concerns and follow-up questions when policy changes occur
How do you review quality and limitations?
Check for consistency of responses from the same persona, diversity of opinions across groups, and excessive positive bias. If you have actual survey data, compare the response distribution and differences in major topics, and record the models, prompts, questions, and evaluation criteria used.
Virtual responses cannot confirm experiences such as taste and touch or actual purchase behavior. After refining your ideas and questions, you need a flow to verify your decision through actual customer research.
How are the roles of GLT and partners divided?
| area | Role in collaboration |

The table above divides the areas of collaboration, and the actual scope of performance and output for each project is confirmed according to the contract and division of work.
