Implementing Optimization: What Determines Time and Cost?

The deliverables and factors that shape schedule and cost at each stage: data review, comparative validation, system integration and operational rollout.

The scope of TO·NO and TMS adoption depends on business complexity, data readiness, and external system connectivity. Distinguishing between reviewing optimization for analysis and building a real-time operational system makes it easier to determine the scope required.

Conditions for changing schedule and cost

  • Missing data, address quality, unit and standard information maintenance scope
  • Target facility, order, vehicle size and calculation frequency
  • Field constraints, number of scenarios, and need to reproduce existing logic
  • Number and method of real-time order/location/mobile/settlement linkage
  • Construction environment/scope of use/guidance/external services/technical support conditions

Good things to prepare before introduction consultation

Prepare order/dispatch performance, facility/vehicle master, unit price, and exception conditions for the representative period. We first agree on the scope of data disclosure and use and evaluation conditions, and then distinguish between target values, simulation results, and actual operational measurements.

We do not use the past set period or comparative price presented in the introduction as a current confirmed quote or delivery promise. The actual schedule and cost will be provided based on the scope of application after reviewing the data.

YOUR OPERATIONS / NEXT STEP

How do we apply dispatch and replanning to our work?

Please tell us about the most difficult situation in dispatch right now. We review the required data, site constraints, and scope of connection with existing systems.

Please choose a situation that is close to our company.

Having these materials will be helpful in your review.

  • Representative order/vehicle items
  • Operational restrictions such as delivery time and vehicle type
  • Current dispatch method and examples of changes

Even if you don't have any data yet, you can tell us about your current situation. Information that is difficult to disclose may be reviewed as a sample with identifying information masked.

In consultation, the scope is set as follows.

  1. Check current work and improvement goals
  2. Summary of data/constraints and comparative verification scope
  3. Link to existing systems and discuss scope of construction
